Conventions of a digipak

On any digipak, we always expect to see similar things that are needed or that we associate with a digipak. The following are the conventions of a digipak:

Front Cover:

• Artist or artists name
• Album or single name
• Image - usually of the artist. The image may also be original art.

Back cover:

• Track list
• Bar code
• Background image or colour
• Record Label and logos
• Copyright information
• Where it's made.

Inside Panel:

• Writers and producers
• Song information
• Back catalogue
• Artist information. Sometimes the artist may ask for a list of names to thank for the album, and a message.
• Lyrics, usually in a separate booklet
• Tour dates and competitions too sometimes ans small handouts

Spine

• Name of the song or album
• Artist name
• Record company
