Inspiration From Other Videos

Looking at more Hip Hop music videos, I like the idea of mirroring in the video From Kanye and Jay Z - 'Paris'. We have already decided on a scene of the actor performing on stage. After seeing this we're hoping to include mirroring at a few points throughout, when we get to editing our music video.

Progress

Over summer, we had planned a few days to film while our chosen actor was available. Unfortunately because of the bad weather we had those days, we wasn't able to do so. But do hope to do so at the beginning of September when our actor is available. However, we have had more time to plan and to storyboard in detail for when we do film. Also given us more time to research more music videos from our genre. Which has given us a much clearer concept of what the video is going to look like!

Without the actor though, we have managed to film some establishing shots we are going to use throughout the video. These are over looking Lincoln city, showing urban areas and cityscapes which are conventions of the genre hip hop.
